Privacy Policy

Effective date: 22 May 2026 · Last updated: 8 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the AI Photo Lab mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

AI Photo Lab is designed to require no account, no email, and no personal profile. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, location, or payment information.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Anonymous device identifier

The first time you open the App, we generate a random UUID (a long string of letters and numbers) and store it on your device. This identifier is not derived from any hardware ID and cannot, on its own, identify you. We use it as a key to store the prompts you have liked, so they reappear on the same device after a restart or reinstall (when restored from device backup).

1.2 Data you create in the App

1.3 Analytics and diagnostic data

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the App is used in aggregate — for example, which screens are most popular, which prompts get the most engagement, and where errors occur. Firebase Analytics may collect:

We do not link analytics data to your real identity. Analytics are disabled on the web version of the App.

1.4 Clipboard

When you tap the "Copy" button on a prompt, the App writes the prompt text to your device clipboard so you can paste it into another app. The App does not read your clipboard at any point.

1.5 Advertising

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure these ads, AdMob may collect and process:

On iOS, ads are personalized using the IDFA only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you continue to see non-personalized ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App presents a consent choice (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalized ads are shown. Learn more about how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

1.6 What we do not collect

2. How we use the information

3. How we share the information

We do not sell your data. We share limited information only with the service providers needed to run the App:

ProviderPurposeData shared
Google / Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Analytics) Hosting your liked prompts and aggregate event analytics Anonymous device UUID, liked prompt IDs, analytics events, IP address
Google AdMob Serving and measuring in-app advertisements Advertising identifier (IDFA / Google Advertising ID), IP address, ad-interaction and device data
Expo (build and over-the-air updates) App delivery and updates Standard device metadata required to deliver compatible app bundles
Apple / Google (app stores) App distribution and crash reporting Standard store-level diagnostics governed by their own policies

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

4. Data retention

Your anonymous device UUID and liked prompt list are retained until you delete them (see Section 5) or stop using the App for an extended period. Analytics events follow the default Firebase Analytics retention window (currently 14 months).

5. Your choices and rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA (including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority). Contact us at codigicsolutions@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete any associated record.

7. International transfers

Our service providers (notably Google / Firebase) operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We rely on the standard contractual clauses and other safeguards offered by these providers.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including TLS in transit and Firebase security rules — to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
